Cohesion at work

There are few things at work that make me feel quite as emotion as team cohesion.

When people discuss Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), there's a common saying: "diversity is being invited to the party, inclusion is being asked to dance."

Cohesion to me is dancing to Thriller or the Electric Slide. No one needs an invitation; suddenly we are all in sync, each understanding our role. No words need to be exchanged; the magic just unfolds.

Cohesion is embodying a championship team. Cohesion is being in sync in an inexplicable human way. Cohesion is beautiful, and when it is the norm, we all feel that much more excited to show up every day.
